Professor Elvira MC Fortunato, a member of the IUMRS Global Leadership and Service Award Committee, has been awarded the 2016 Blaise Pascal Medal for Materials Science by the General Board of the European Academy of Sciences (EURASC) On May 10, 2016. By winning this award, Prof. Fortunato automatically received the right to become a fellow of the European Academy of Sciences.
